Welcome To ELKHORN SLOUGH
local craft flavor.
Elkhorn Slough Brewing Co LLC is a successful three-year-old local brewery and taproom located in a 3,600 sq ft manufacturing facility in the industrial area of Watsonville, CA. The brewery is fully owned and managed by Michael Enos and Julie Rienhardt as a single member LLC.
As a hobby craft-beer business operated by Michal and Julie while tending to other full-time work and life commitments, Elkhorn Slough Brewing Co has slowly increased its taproom hours over the past three years while maintaining limited hours and extremely limited outside sales. The taproom is currently open the public five days per week (for a total of 31 taproom hours per week) and fresh beer is being brewed approximately 6 times per month. There is significant room for increased production and sales potential if desired, and due to high inventory stock this turn-key business could realize sales on the first day of ownership.
brewhouse & Equipment
Elkhorn Slough Brewing Company’s 3 BBL electric brewhouse is in good working order and all other production equipment is in-house and of good quality. A solar-power system which was put in Jan 2019 has already significantly reduced costs — further reduced when fully paid off in 2024. Other intangibles include a skilled head brewer and below-market value long-term lease.

50+ barrels of aged wild beer.
Elkhorn Slough’s aged wild beer barrel program has been built over three years with some yeast strains in development for over nine years. Beginning this year at least two of these specialty beers have been released to the public each month, on tap and in limited-edition bottles.
Taproom LOCATION & CLIENTELE
at home in the heart of the Monterey Bay.
Elkhorn Slough Brewing Company has a devoted customer base in the local community and enjoys a strong reputation in the craft brewing community at large. Watsonville is a fast-growing participant in California’s booming craft-beer culture and the taproom is conveniently located near Santa Cruz Cider Co (opening July 2019) and other local purveyors of craft food & beverages. In addition to Elkhorn Slough’s own taproom there is high demand for sales to craft taprooms & bottle shops up and down the Central Coast, from Monterey to San Francisco.
Currently, new breweries opening in the area are spending more than a million dollars and on average one year to build out and secure permits. Since all permits are currently in place, this process is greatly simplified. The business is turn-key and due to high inventory stock can begin realizing sales on the first day of ownership.
